Donor Cameos - Investment in the Future
Sweta and Yaz Shah have already made a mark for themselves in this world. Besides keeping very busy with their successful pharmacy, Hudson Drug of Cresskill, and numerous real estate properties, they are parents to two young children, Sonali, 4, and Samir, 2. Despite their many responsibilities, Sweta and Yaz have made a personal commitment to the Medical Center.
The Shahs have donated the use of one of their buildings, a 5,000-square-foot property near the hospital. The gift, valued at $425,000 for the first three years, couldn’t have come at a better time, as numerous services are displaced during the construction of The Kaplen Pavilion.
“It is wonderful to know we are giving back to our community and helping people,” said Yaz Shah. “We are proud to be part of the effort to build a new emergency care center, and proud of the growth of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, our family’s hospital. We are investing in the future of quality care for ourselves, our loved ones, and our neighbors.”
