2009 Black Tie Gala
An uplifting and joyous performance by the Voices of Hope ensemble was the perfect centerpiece for a spectacular evening! A cast of 15 very talented young people were chosen from among more than 100 who auditioned for the Voices of Hope and performed an original musical production at this year’s Annual Black Tie Gala. Voices of Hope was organized thanks to volunteer and Demarest resident Debbie Slevin, a professional director and producer.
Foundation trustee Bernie Koster was honored for his years of service and dedication to the Medical Center. The Annual Black Tie Gala raised $550,000 to benefit essential programs and services at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center and 450 guests were in attendance. The event was held at the beautiful Rockleigh Country Club where an extravagant cocktail reception was held and delicious desserts were served.
