Golf and Tennis Classic - 2009 Recap
Nothing sings more sweetly to a person’s heart than a beautiful day spent with good people. So went the 15th Annual Englewood Classic Golf and Tennis Outing on September 14, 2009 when Englewood Hospital and Medical Center Foundation raised $125,000, thanks to the generosity of players, sponsors and other donors. The Kaplen Foundation was Presenting Sponsor.
The Classic was held at the beautiful Montammy Golf Club in Alpine, NJ. Stanley and Sylvia Shirvan won the Lexus Champions for Charity Raffle, garnering a spot for two to play at the Lexus annual national charity tournament at the famed Pebbles Beach Resort in California. A lavish awards dinner topped off the successful evening.
