5.26.09 - Hope was theme at the Foundation’s back tie gala on May 9, when more than half a million dollars was raised for programs and services. Foundation Trustee Bernie Koster was honored for his exemplary dedication to the present and future of the Medical Center and many other noble causes. A jubilant group of young people formed of area residents and called Voices of Hope expressed the hopes and dreams of individuals who care about the future of all humankind, and the future of the Medical Center in particular. The ensemble’s engrossing performance ended in a standing ovation. Demarest resident Debbie Slevin, a professional director, donated her time as her way of giving back.
